Difficulties on the Road

¹³"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. ¹⁴Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. ¹⁵"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. ¹⁶You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? ¹⁷Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. ¹⁸A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. ¹⁹Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. ²⁰Therefore by their fruits you will know them. ²¹"Not everyone who says to Me, "Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

^١٣ «اُدْخُلُوا مِنَ ٱلْبَابِ ٱلضَّيِّقِ، لِأَنَّهُ وَاسِعٌ ٱلْبَابُ وَرَحْبٌ ٱلطَّرِيقُ ٱلَّذِي يُؤَدِّي إِلَى ٱلْهَلَاكِ، وَكَثِيرُونَ هُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدْخُلُونَ مِنْهُ! ^١٤مَا أَضْيَقَ ٱلْبَابَ وَأَكْرَبَ ٱلطَّرِيقَ ٱلَّذِي يُؤَدِّي إِلَى ٱلْحَيَاةِ، وَقَلِيلُونَ هُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَجِدُونَهُ! ^١٥ «اِحْتَرِزُوا مِنَ ٱلْأَنْبِيَاءِ ٱلْكَذَبَةِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَأْتُونَكُمْ بِثِيَابِ ٱلْحُمْلَانِ، وَلَكِنَّهُمْ مِنْ دَاخِلٍ ذِئَابٌ خَاطِفَةٌ! ^١٦مِنْ ثِمَارِهِمْ تَعْرِفُونَهُمْ. هَلْ يَجْتَنُونَ مِنَ ٱلشَّوْكِ عِنَبًا، أَوْ مِنَ ٱلْحَسَكِ تِينًا؟ ^١٧هَكَذَا كُلُّ شَجَرَةٍ جَيِّدَةٍ تَصْنَعُ أَثْمَارًا جَيِّدَةً، وَأَمَّا ٱلشَّجَرَةُ ٱلرَّدِيَّةُ فَتَصْنَعُ أَثْمَارًا رَدِيَّةً، ^١٨لَا تَقْدِرُ شَجَرَةٌ جَيِّدَةٌ أَنْ تَصْنَعَ أَثْمَارًا رَدِيَّةً، وَلَا شَجَرَةٌ رَدِيَّةٌ أَنْ تَصْنَعَ أَثْمَارًا جَيِّدَةً. ^١٩كُلُّ شَجَرَةٍ لَا تَصْنَعُ ثَمَرًا جَيِّدًا تُقْطَعُ وَتُلْقَى فِي ٱلنَّارِ. ^٢٠فَإِذًا مِنْ ثِمَارِهِمْ تَعْرِفُونَهُمْ. ^٢١«لَيْسَ كُلُّ مَنْ يَقُولُ لِي: يَارَبُّ، يَارَبُّ! يَدْخُلُ مَلَكُوتَ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ. بَلِ ٱلَّذِي يَفْعَلُ إِرَادَةَ أَبِي ٱلَّذِي فِي ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ.
